MALUBOG is a native word which refers to the characteristic of the water in the creek in the place. The water in the creek maintains a hazy character due to the mud particles from the hills. The creek is still there adjoined by a two-lane concrete bridge called Malubog Bridge.
Malubog enjoys a very ideal climate. Cut-flower industry which flourishes in this barangay has been the source of livelihood for some residents. The place is also the source of fresh vegetables and delicious mangoes.
